Releasing retention for unitary bills

  1. Open 3-9 Unitary Billing.
  2. Select the record for which you want to release retention.
  3. On the Options menu, click Setup.
  4. In the Retention Rate text box, delete the rate.
  5. Click File > Save.
  6. In the Ret. Rate column, delete the rate.
  7. On the Options menu, click Calculate.
  8. Click File > Save.
  9. Release the retention in accounts receivable.

Tip: To only release retention for specific line items, delete the rate in the RetentionRate text box of each line item for which you want to release retention. Then calculate the application.
